Enroll in Anthem PPO
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield is pleased to announce that on September 9, 2009, The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) informed Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield that we could begin marketing our 2010 Medicare Advantage and 2010 Medicare Prescription Drug Plans on Oct. 1, 2009. Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield can begin enrolling Medicare beneficiaries in our 2010 Medicare Advantage and 2010 Medicare Prescription Drug Plans.
What this means for Medicare beneficiaries is that beginning on Nov. 15, 2009 Medicare eligible individuals will be able to enroll in one of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans for the 2010 benefit year. In the meantime, Medicare beneficiaries can continue to purchase one of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield’ s Medicare Supplement health benefit plans. Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield is pleased to once again offer a full suite of Medicare products including Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Supplement to Medicare beneficiaries in 2010.
