Indiana Hoosier Healthwise Program

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield is a managed care plan that serves Indiana’s Hoosier Healthwise members. 
 
What is Indiana Hoosier Healthwise? 

Hoosier Healthwise is a health care program that offers three packages to those who qualify for state-funded health programs:

Package A – children, families, and some pregnant women

Package B – some pregnant women

Package C (SCHIP) - children under 19 (in families who do not qualify for package A)

 
Our plan stresses early intervention and preventive care. It also promotes access to quality care with a focus on prenatal and Well-Child care. We offer other services such as sports physicals for kids, care management, and more.

Sometimes a friendly face really counts. That’s why our Community Resource Centers (CRCs) are near where you live. Our CRC staff stands ready to answer questions about our health plan. They can connect you and your doctors with local services. Or, they can just give you a helping hand.
