From Quality-In-Sights® Hospital Incentive Program (Q-HIP®)

It’s okay to be picky. When you need care, it’s okay to seek out a hospital that treats your condition particularly well. How do you know which hospitals meet your standards? 
Q-HIP is an Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield hospital quality program that evaluates our network hospitals based on patient safety, health outcomes and patient satisfaction. 
Now you can look inside to see how well they’re doing in a variety of quality and safety measures. Numbers are updated every year, so you’ll always have the latest information available. Talk to your doctor about what these snapshots mean for your treatment decision. You will find that, on average, our network hospitals are meeting some high standards.
