Introduction
Anthem Blue Cross Partnership Plan and Anthem Blue Cross administers this Medi-Cal program for the California Department of Health Services. Anthem Blue Cross is contracted with L.A. Care Health Plan to provide Medi-Cal Managed Care Services in Los Angeles County. At Anthem Blue Cross we are committed to bringing the power of one of California's most respected companies to work for everyone. That is why we worked with the State of California to design our Medi-Cal program.
Our program's primary features include improved access to care, an emphasis on prevention, increased provider participation, a shift from episodic to primary care, and premier customer service.
This program design has become the foundation of our programs in other states.
