UPDATE: Effective June 1, 2011, Anthem Blue Cross HMO is also an available health plan in Healthy Families in these additional counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Stanislaus. 

The Healthy Families Program provides low-cost health, dental and vision coverage for eligible children and teens in low-income families. Your children may qualify if you earn too much to qualify for no-cost Medi-Cal. 
Anthem Blue Cross has participated in the Healthy Families Program since 1998. When you choose Anthem Blue Cross as your Healthy Families Program health plan, you get a large number of doctors to select from, no deductibles and small copays for some services.
