Anthem Blue Cross is pleased to announce KICK (Kids in Charge of Kalories), a free innovative program available to all Anthem Blue Cross families focusing on motivating the entire family to eat healthy diets and be physically active. The program is designed to assist our physicians in their efforts to provide patients with helpful materials and information on healthy eating and staying active.
Resources available to KICK members include a workbook that provides tips for parents and activity ideas for children, the KICK website, and telephonic support through Smart Voice Technology.
Studies indicate that patients are more receptive to health information when it is provided by their physicians. The KICK Office Tool Kit provides materials to help our physicians address the childhood obesity issue. The following materials will be included in the provider tool kit:

| KICK Brochure (pack of 25) – Provides information about free resources for families, phone support, and health tips on eating right and staying physically active. |
| KICK Poster (1) – Place this in your office or waiting room. It offers tips on making healthy food choices and staying active. |
| KICK Fax Order Form – Order more KICK posters and brochures in English and Spanish. |
