Enroll in a Plan

Congratulations. You’ve made an excellent decision to enroll in an Anthem Medicare plan. You’ll be joining millions of Americans who have taken an active role in their health by making intelligent health care choices every single day. We’re happy to welcome you to Anthem.  

The time to enroll for Medicare Advantage and Part D is November 15 through December 31st of each year. This is called the Annual Election Period. In certain situations, you may be eligible to enroll in or change plans outside of this period.  

Medicare eligible individuals can enroll in a Medicare Supplement plan at any time of the year, as long as they are eligible. The best time to buy a Medicare Supplement policy is during your Medicare Supplement open enrollment period. This period lasts for 6 months and begins on the first day of the month in which you are both age 65 or older and enrolled in Medicare Part B.

Now that you’ve selected the plan that’s right for you, all you have to do is enroll, and it’s simple. You can or print out an application, fill it out and mail it to us. For most plans, you can even enroll online.
