We’re taking steps to help our members affected by Hurricane Matthew get the care they need. If you live in one of the impacted areas listed below, or you’re an emergency worker sent there to respond, here’s what you should know:
Florida: all counties
North Carolina: all counties
South Carolina: Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, Georgetown, Horry, Jasper counties- If you’re on an Anthem or Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia prescription drug plan you can refill lost or damaged prescriptions at any pharmacy now.
- If you use a mail order pharmacy you can update your address information by calling Member Services.
These relaxed pharmacy guidelines are in place Oct. 3, 2016 through Dec. 2, 2016 in Florida; Oct. 3, 2016 through Nov. 2, 2016 in North Carolina and Oct. 8 through Oct. 31 in South Carolina.
In addition to the above, members residing in impacted South Carolina counties won’t have their policy canceled due to nonpayment of premium from Oct. 8 through Dec. 7, 2016.
The guidelines do not apply to Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D or Federal Employees Health Benefits Program members. These programs have specific guidelines.
If you need additional support, call the Member Services number on your ID card or select Customer Support on this website.
We hope you and your loved ones stay safe.
