Prices for the same quality medical tests and procedures can vary from hundreds to thousands of dollars, based on where you go for the service. SmartShopper encourages you to shop around for routine health care services and rewards you with a powerful incentive - cash - when you find and use high quality, lower cost options for common outpatient surgeries and procedures like colonoscopies. SmartShopper is easy to use and helps you put more money right in your own pocket.

Here's how it works:

Step 1:
You can register for SmartShopper at any time by visiting vitalssmartshopper.com or by calling 1-800-824-9127. Then you’ll receive a confirmation email to get started.

Step 2:
Any time a doctor recommends a medical test, service or procedure, call the SmartShopper Personal Assistant team at 1-800-824-9127 or visit vitalssmartshopper.com to search for locations where you can have the same quality service done at a lower cost. 

Step 3:
Have your procedure done at one of locations recommended by SmartShopper.

Step 4:
Four to six weeks after the procedure (and the claim has been paid), SmartShopper will mail you a check. It's that easy!
