New, Easier Access to your Health Records

One of the great things about health care in the digital age is discovering new ways to solve old problems. For example, a key to getting the right care is making sure you and your doctors understand your health history. That way, everyone is on the same page. We’re working hard to find new, better ways of helping you do that.

Health history, we have an app for that!


As an Anthem member, you now have access to a new smartphone app, My Family Health Record, from CareEvolution. It works together with your Sydney App to give you better, easier access to your health information. Just download Sydney from the App Store® or Google Play™ to learn how it works. If you already have Sydney you’re just a click away.

It’s secure
You get a safe, password-protected way to access your securely stored medical records, images and other documents in your medical history.

It puts the value of your health record at your fingertips
Sort through information more quickly, with the new ability to search and see health history by patient (each member of your family), not just by doctor. And you’ll find records for all the hospitals/doctors you see in one place.

You can also see and manage records for your family, add prescriptions to the list of medicines taken and add new allergies to medications or foods. You can even use the app to see appointments you’ve scheduled!

It’s all set up to share
It takes just a moment to share your medical record right from the app with a doctor so they have the full picture. It might even help you get the care you need faster.
