Centura Health May Leave Anthem

13 de marzo de 2020

Anthem has been working closely with Centura Health (Centura) for several months, but we haven’t reached an agreement to keep them in our plans. This means if Anthem and Centura are unable to reach an agreement by 30 de abril de 2020, they’ll leave our plans. Our priority is to protect our members’ access to affordable, quality healthcare.

A list of commonly asked questions about how this may impact members, as well as a list of alternative facilities in their plans, is provided below.

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and HMO Colorado (Anthem) negotiates contracts with hospitals and doctors across the state to provide members with a broad network and affordable access to health care. It’s a critical part of what we do with the goal of limiting out-of-pocket health care costs and keeping premiums affordable.

Anthem and Centura have a long history of working together, and we know that having access to doctors and hospitals in your plan is important to you. But, we want to ensure you are aware that Centura may leave your plan. If the status changes, we’ll update you through this website.

If you have additional questions, please call the member services number on the back of your Anthem ID card.
