The name Las Vegas (meaning "the meadows") is often applied to the unincorporated areas of Clark County that surround the city, especially the resort areas on and near the Las Vegas Strip. This 4.5-mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard is mostly outside the city limits, in the unincorporated towns of Paradise and Winchester. Las Vegas, billed as The Entertainment Capital of the World, is famous for the number of large casino resorts and their associated entertainment.

Anthem offers Individual and Family health insurance and dental & vision plans for Nevada
In addition to a variety of medical plans for individuals and families, we offer dental plans with optional vision coverage in Las Vegas and the rest of Nevada.
Anthem offers a large network of doctors, hospitals, and other health-care providers in Las Vegas. Our in-network providers have agreed to accept lower negotiated rates (discounted prices) for their covered services. These agreed upon rates can help lower the cost of covered health care services, including your share of the costs. This is true when you are paying the whole cost for covered services (such as while you are meeting your deductible). And it’s also true when we are sharing the cost (while you are meeting your out-of-pocket limit).
Log in or use your Anthem ID card to make sure you find a doctor or hospital in your network, which will help keep your costs down.
Note: If you are a member with Medicaid or other state-sponsored programs, search with the alpha prefix (first three letters) of your identification number or search by selecting a plan/network.
If it’s not an emergency (and you can’t get to your regular doctor) - there are other options for fast, more affordable care.
