Anthem is now part of MyCare Ohio

Starting January 2026, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield is joining the Next Generation MyCare Ohio program. That means Anthem will be part of MyCare Ohio — and we’re looking forward to helping you get the care you need — all in one plan.

MyCare Ohio Advisory Workgroup

The Ohio Department of Medicaid's MyCare Ohio Advisory Workgroup meets monthly to discuss the Next Generation MyCare program and ways to improve it. Learn more on the Stakeholders & Partners MyCare Ohio page.

Learn more about the current MyCare Ohio program

Visit the Learn More About MyCare Ohio Plans webpage to discover details about the MyCare Ohio program, including the benefits of each managed care plan and enrollment information. You can find resources like the MyCare Ohio: What You Need to Know fact sheet, program overview one-pager, waiver overview one-pager, and a document of frequently asked questions.

To learn what matters to you the most about your needs, we just listen. The Anthem MyCare Member and Family Advisory Council gives members and the community a chance to provide feedback about the health plan. For caregivers, the Caregiver Advisory Committee serves as a platform to share insights and help shape our programming. We encourage you to join the Anthem MyCare Advisory Council/Committee in January 2026 to let us know more about how we are doing.

Two new MyCare Ohio microvideos are available: ODM’s “What is MyCare Ohio?” video gives an overview of eligibility and enrollment, and the “MyCare Ohio program benefits” video informs you about enrollment options and benefits.

For specific information, check the fact sheet that matches your care situation, whether that’s community treatment, developmental disabilities services, or living in a nursing facility.

To learn more about the MyCare Ohio demonstration's effectiveness, review the evaluation reports. If you have questions or feedback on the program, email MyCareConversionQuestions@medicaid.ohio.gov.

ODM held community input sessions for members to share their healthcare experiences, focusing on access to care, member experiences, communications, partner services, and transportation. You can review the presentation from these sessions and provide feedback by emailing the same address if you missed the sessions.
