Anthem offers both dental PPO and Traditional dental plans for you to choose from. 
Our Dental Prime and Dental Complete PPO plans offer a choice of plan networks and the right mix of core benefits and more specialized benefits that help target your employees' overall health. 
Our Dental PPO plans are available as either employer-paid or voluntary (employee-paid) basis. Ask your broker or Anthem sales representative for more information on our voluntary dental plans. 
Dental Smart Access: Our most affordable suite of dental plans, Smart Access is served by a smaller network of dentists chosen for their patient-centered approach to dentistry. These comprehensive dental plans include the freedom to see any dentist, with stronger benefits in-network. 
Anthem Dental Traditional for large groups with 51+ employees plans do not feature a provider network, but instead give members the freedom to visit the dentists of their choice. With these plans, there are no networks or referrals to worry about. Anthem Dental Traditional is available to both small and large groups in Ohio. 
We also offer dental plans that include pediatric dental essential health benefits. These benefits provide important coverage for kids up to age 19, including preventive care, fillings and more extensive services like medically-necessary orthodontia.
