My Thoughts on COVID-19 Vaccination with Billie Jean King

May 04, 2021

Did you receive the COVID-19 Vaccination?
I definitely got vaccinated as soon as possible. First of all I'm older, but secondly I wanted to make sure that I was protected and more importantly wanted to make sure I protected others around me.

Why is it important for everyone to be vaccinated?
COVID-19 can be truly serious so please get your vaccination. The quicker we all get vaccinations, the faster we're going to get back to a normal life.

Did the vaccine hurt or make you sick?
For me, personally, the first injection, I didn't feel anything. I felt great. The second one I did have to take a day off because I felt achy, but I also knew that it was good because I knew that it was going to protect me.

How can I learn more about COVID-19 vaccines?
There's a lot of confusing information out there so it's very, very important that all of us have the facts. There are many trusted sources of information about the virus and the vaccine. The CDC, hospitals, pharmacies and health companies like Anthem all have resources to help you learn more and get the facts.

Where can I go to be vaccinated?
