Preventive and Diagnostic Care
Stay healthy and catch problems early for easier treatment. The RTX health plan offers preventive care services and immunizations at no cost to you. If you are not sure which exams, tests, or shots are right for you, talk to your doctor. Preventive care helps protect you from getting sick. If your doctor recommends services when you have no symptoms, that’s preventive care.
Provider Search
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield health plan uses the Blue Card PPO network nationally and Select Networks in specific states and metropolitan areas. Select Networks provide better provider discounts, which translate to lower costs for you.

Continuation of Care
If your current provider is not in the Anthem network and you meet certain requirements, you may submit a request to continue care with that provider and, if approved, your claims will be processed as in network.
You may request continuation of care if you are in an active course of treatment for an acute medical condition or a serious chronic condition, if you are pregnant, have a terminal illness, or have a surgery or other procedure that is scheduled to occur within 90 days of the effective date of coverage. Action Required: Use the Provider Search tool to find out if your current provider is in the Anthem network. If they aren’t, use the link below to download the Continuation of Care Form and follow the submission instructions on the form.
