Your 2026 Health Plans

For 2026, you can choose from four Anthem health plans-the Open Health Plan, the Network Health Plan, the Savings Health Plan (with HSA), and the Basic Health Plan (with HSA).

No-cost surgery benefit through Carrum Health

 

A special medical and surgery benefit available to employees and family members (age 18+) enrolled in a Sodexo Anthem health plan option.  Covered services include: musculoskeletal surgeries, weight-loss surgery, heart surgery, hysterectomy, gastroenterology procedures, pain management, substance use treatment, cancer support and cancer treatment.

 

Anthem Health plans do not cover weight-loss surgeries.

 

Carrum Health must be used for these surgeries to have costs covered. If you enroll in the Anthem Savings or Basic Health plan, with the exception of second opinions, you will need to pay the IRS minimum deductible of $1,700 per individual before surgery costs are covered. Your Health Savings Account (HSA)

 

If you enroll in the Savings or Basic Health Plans, you can contribute to the Anthem HSA.  Because you can contribute to the HSA tax free, your money goes further and allows you to pay for eligible, out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.

 

Using your Anthem plan’s health savings account is a smart way to make your healthcare dollars work even harder. Because you can contribute tax free, your money goes further. Pay for eligible expenses anytime you need it. The money you put in your account is always yours to keep, even if you switch health plans or leave Sodexo. Any unused funds also roll over from year to year, and they never expire.

 

Use your HSA to pay for eligible healthcare costs, such as:

 

  • Ambulance and emergency services
  • Coinsurance (your percentage of the costs)
  • Copays
  • Prescriptions
  • Hospital fees
  • Lab tests
  • Over the counter medications
  • Medical supplies
  • And much more

How to use your HSA

 

  1. Add money to your HSA anytime or contribute through paycheck deductions
  2. Look out for your debit card in the mail
  3. Use your mobile wallet or HSA debit card to pay for doctors visits, prescriptions, and other qualified medical expenses
  4. Once enrolled, log in to the anthem.com or download the Sydney Health mobile app to access your account details

Wellness credit - Live Well Everyday

 

The Wellness Credit is a $600 annual reduction in your Anthem health plan rates for getting a complete physical. While the deadline to earn the Wellness Credit for 2026 has passed, it’s not too early to take action for 2027!

 

To earn the Wellness Credit for 2027, get your physical, submit your Physician Certification Form by September 30, 2026, and be enrolled in an Anthem health plan on January 1, 2027.
