Update on Anthem's Negotiations With Southwest General

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Southwest General Sign New Multi-Year Agreement

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Ohio (Anthem) and Southwest General Health Center have reached an agreement on a new multi-year network participation contract. The agreement ensures uninterrupted, in-network access to Southwest General and its affiliated physicians for Anthem members across Northeast Ohio.

“Our long-standing partnership with Southwest General reflects a shared commitment to ensuring Ohioans have uninterrupted access to high-quality, affordable care close to home,” said Jane Peterson, president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Ohio. “This new agreement continues our work together to help individuals and families get the care they need when and where they need it.”
