Patient panels are growing more diverse and needs are becoming more complex. It is important for providers to have the knowledge, resources, and tools to offer culturally competent care. Implicit Bias Module Series – Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity
Subconscious attitudes and stereotypes can affect our actions and decisions in the provision of care. This course will walk through a set of modules to understand how implicit bias works, identify one’s own implicit biases, and work on mitigation skills. This training is a key component in the effort to eliminate health inequities and increase inclusive care.
