Paramount Advantage will become Anthem

Current Paramount Advantage members will automatically become Anthem members later this year. You do not need to do anything to keep the Medicaid benefits you have now. We are here to help you through the change and answer any questions you have. The OhioRISE (Resilience through Integrated Systems and Excellence) program is a managed care program for children and youth who have complex behavioral health and multisystem needs. OhioRISE services through Aetna Better Health of Ohio are projected to begin July 1, 2022.


Eligibility for OhioRISE is determined through the completion of a CANS assessment or a behavioral health inpatient or psychiatric residential treatment admission.

What the change means for Paramount members

As an Anthem member, you will keep the same Medicaid benefits that you have today. Plus, you may be eligible for no-cost extra benefits just for being a member.

You'll continue to access your benefits as you do today. You still have full access to your health benefits and services using your ID card and MyParamount account.
