Help for members impacted by the Wildfires in El Dorado and Siskiyou Counties.

  We’re taking steps to help our members affected by the wildfires in El Dorado and Siskiyou counties get the care they may need. If you have been impacted and live in these California counties — here’s what you should know:
  • Affected members can see any physician necessary to provide you with access to care.
  • All urgent care and emergency claims will be paid as in-network, regardless of whether or not the health care provider is in-network.
  • If you’re on a prescription drug plan and have lost or damaged medication, you can get refills at any pharmacy now.
  • You can get replacement medical equipment (also called Durable Medical Equipment or DME) if yours was lost or damaged.
  • Claims filing deadlines will be extended.

These guidelines will be in effect immediately through October 2, 2014 — but could be extended in certain locations.
