Anthem Blue Cross Provides Aid to Help Southern California Communities Affected by LA Fires Recover

$10M Fire Relief Initiative Bolsters Local Community Recovery and Rehabilitation Efforts
 

Anthem Blue Cross and its philanthropic arm, Anthem Blue Cross Foundation, are expanding relief efforts to include comprehensive recovery support in the wake of the Southern California fires.
 

Today, Anthem and its Foundation announced the latest recipients of their $10 million fire relief initiative designed to enhance immediate community response and facilitate long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts. To date, more than $7 million of these funds have been allocated to vital organizations providing support, including:

Anthem Blue Cross and the Foundation are actively assisting these organizations in delivering essential services to those in need, from deploying a truck equipped with laundry and shower facilities, to providing needed mental health support, to helping Los Angeles residents rebuild their homes. Through these efforts, they are partnering to provide food, shelter, and medical care, along with long-term recovery support through mental health services, economic assistance, and infrastructure rebuilding.
