Price a medication

Your Anthem plan gives you access to the Price a Medication tool. You can use it to:

• Find discounts on hundreds of covered and noncovered drugs.¹
• Compare costs of generic vs. brand name drugs.
• Find the best in-network prices for your medicines.
• Save money on your maintenance drugs with CarelonRx Pharmacy home delivery.

How to start saving

Getting prescription discounts is simple. When you get to the pharmacy, all you need to do is show your insurance. You’ll receive a discount if you’re eligible. 

These discounts help people save on their medications about 56% of the time.²

Explore tools and discounts

Log in to anthem.com/ca or the Sydney^SM Health app to use the Price a Medication tool. On the website, select Price a Medication from the Prescriptions menu. On the app, select the tool from the Pharmacy menu.
